A practical note before the details. Most families who come to us in person live within a few neighbourhoods of the centre, and that is not an accident of marketing. A student who arrives after a forty-minute journey at the end of a school day is working with what is left of their attention, and over a year that difference is larger than most differences between centres.
If the journey does not work, the honest answer is usually that a different format suits you better rather than that you should make the journey.

Most of our students come from the surrounding neighbourhoods — Eunos, Kembangan, Bedok, Paya Lebar, Katong, Marine Parade and Joo Chiat — because a short journey after a school day matters more than families expect. A student who arrives tired from a long commute learns less.
The levels we teach
Primary 1 through Primary 6 (primary school math tuition), Secondary 1 through Secondary 4 including E-Math and A-Math (secondary school math tuition), and JC1 to JC2 H2 Mathematics (junior college math tuition).
Mathematics only. We do not teach other subjects, which is a deliberate choice — it lets the teaching team specialise rather than spread.

What the classes are like
Small groups, with a first lesson that is largely diagnostic. The tutor works out what a student can and cannot do before deciding what to teach, which usually means the first session looks less like teaching than parents expect.
Parents are sometimes surprised that the first session looks less like teaching than they expected. That is deliberate. Until we know where a student actually is — which is frequently not where the current school topic suggests — anything we teach is a guess, and guesses in the first month are expensive.

If the location does not work
Our online math courses cover the same syllabus with worked video solutions, and are used by families across Singapore who cannot reach the east conveniently. They also suit students whose schedules do not fit a fixed weekly class.
The past-year exam paper library is free to anyone, wherever you are — worth downloading before deciding whether you need lessons at all.
What a first term usually looks like
The first lesson is diagnostic. Within roughly a month you should have a specific answer about what your child’s actual difficulty is — not “needs more practice”, but something concrete enough to act on.
After that, most of the work is rebuilding whatever the diagnosis found, then building fluency in it. Understanding usually shifts within three to four weeks; marks typically follow a term later, because fluency has to become automatic before it survives examination conditions.
We say this openly because the lag surprises families who expect faster movement, and because a centre promising quicker results is usually teaching to the next test rather than fixing the cause.
Level matters more than school
Mostly the schools around the east — but the more useful point is that school matters less than level. A Secondary 3 student struggling with A-Math algebra has the same gap whichever school set the paper, and the syllabus is national.

A note on what we can and cannot promise: the patterns described here come from what we have seen in our own classes over the years. They are not a forecast for any individual student. Progress in mathematics is produced jointly — our teachers work hard for a student who is willing to put in the effort, with support at home. No tuition centre can promise a grade, and we do not.
