(Express/IP/NA)
Are you worried that your child is not doing well in Sec 1 Math?
Sec 1 Math Tuition, is it important for your child? Secondary 1 is a new chapter for primary school students transiting to secondary school life. As compared to primary school math, secondary school math will be slightly more abstract particularly with the usage of algebra. Some students might view this transition a little bit difficult as they might not be use to the usual math they did in primary school. In Odyssey Math, we provide step by step guide to secondary 1 math students to strengthen their math foundation. This way, we aim to prepare them well for the next chapter in mathematics as they proceed higher.

Why Odyssey Math?
Results Oriented
Our aim is to ensure that students do well for secondary 1 mathematics. Here in Odyssey Math, so long as students follow our guidance and make use of our resources, doing well for math is definitely possible. Being results oriented means to constantly encourage and motivate our students to never give up in mathematics. Sometimes, a little encouragement goes a long way. Students putting in the necessary effort and stick with our plan will be able to do well for math.
Experienced and Qualified Math Tutor
Mr Tan has 11 years of math coaching experience with a math degree (distinction) from NUS in 2018. Ever since he finished his national service, he started to provide 1 to 1 math tuition to students. Whether is it students who failed mathematics or students who are already good in mathematics, Mr Tan has handled all of them. He understands students’ frustrations when it comes to learning mathematics. Sometimes, lessons in school can be too quick for students to handle. Mr Tan will be able to manage the pace of the lesson and explain math concepts simply so that his students can learn math better.

Affordable Sec 1 Math Tuition with maximum value
In Odyssey Math, we aim to provide the most affordable math tuition and at the same time provide the maximum benefit to students. This way, we reduce the cost burden imposed on the parents and at the same time help students excel in mathematics.
24/7 Support
Questions after class? Ask right away as we believe that learning does not end even after lesson hours. We encourage students to ask questions as this helps to clarify their misconceptions.
Small Class Sizes
In Odyssey Math, we can assure parents that we keep our class size small (6 to 8 students) so that we can attend to every student’s needs.

Testimonials of our teaching
Let our students’ reviews do the talking! Don’t listen to what we got to say, see the testimonials of our students below.
Our Sec 1 Math Tuition Structure
Secondary 1 Math deals with the fundamentals of secondary math. As such, topics will be introduced to students at the start. We will walk them through the concepts and after that the examples so that students can understand better. Next, we will provide practice questions to do during classes. Afterwards students will need to finish their homework where we will review it in the subsequent lesson. Thereafter topic tests will be given to students to test the students’ understanding and we will review with them accordingly. The 4 phases of learning indicated below will allow students to gain mastery over the concepts.
